HEDDLE’S SUPPORT OF HUMANITARIAN EFFORTS IN UKRAINE

We have raised the Ukrainian Flag at our Shipyard in support of the Ukrainian people who have been impacted by the war. It will fly every day until there is peace in Ukraine as a demonstration of our unequivocal support.

We have also made the decision to direct all remaining funding from our Corporate Social Responsibility budget to the Canada-Ukraine Foundation (https://www.cufoundation.ca/) and Canadian Red Cross (http://www.redcross.ca). The Government of Canada have pledged to match up to a maximum of $10 million (CAD) in donations for Ukraine. These organizations will use the funds to support humanitarian efforts, including providing medical aid, emergency shelter and food security in Ukraine during the conflict.

We hope and pray that the conflict will end soon, but if it continues, we are also working with our Federal, Provincial and Municipal governments to develop a plan for expediting the settlement of refugees in Canada, if the need arises.
